For 25 years, Mr. Dell worked as a NCAA Division I ice hockey referee. Mr. Dell also served as a National Hockey League (NHL) trainee and officiated his 1<sup>st</sup> NHL game on January 23, 1992, between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the New York Islanders at Nassau Coliseum in New York.
