Official Rules for Online Raffle Prize Promotions

No purchase necessary, void where prohibited by law

Open to all members of the New York State Public Employees Federation. The winners will be selected randomly. Raffle drawings are generally limited to one entry per person, unless expressly permitted in the materials for a specific drawing. In instances where a drawing is limited to one entry per person, duplicate entries for the same drawing will be eliminated.

How to enter

To enter, register online by supplying your email address and other requested information. The PEF Membership Benefits Program (“Sponsor”), The New York State Public Employees Federation nor any of their officers, directors, Trustees, employees or representatives are responsible for lost, late, damaged, delayed, destroyed, misdirected, incomplete or illegible entries. Once submitted, entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be returned.

Facebook promotions

If a contest calls for specific action via Facebook (ie: Like or Share) individual Facebook profile settings must be set so that these actions are public. If settings are not set to public, your name will not show up as having taken the required action, therefore making you ineligible for said contest.


Promotion open to all members of the New York State Public Employees Federation. Employees, officers, directors and trustees of the PEF Membership Benefits Program or the New York State Public Employees Federation, their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, sales representatives, retailers, advertising, sales promotion and judging agencies, and the immediate families or household members of each are not eligible. Void outside the U.S. and where prohibited. Federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. To be eligible to win, you must register online. Entries must be received via the online registration.


The winners will be selected randomly. Entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and by the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects. The PEF Membership Benefits Program will notify prize winner(s) by email, phone, and messaging for social media raffles. Prize winner(s) have 48 hours to respond to prize notification. If no response is received within 48 hours, a new prize winner(s) will be selected. If email prize notification is returned as “undeliverable” within the 48 hour time frame and no valid phone number is available, such prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected. There are no substitutions for the prize offered. Prizes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Prize/odds of winning

Odds of winning the drawing depend on the number of eligible entries received. Prize is not transferable. No prize substitutions permitted, except by Sponsor, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize becomes unavailable.

General terms/conditions

By participating, entrant releases Sponsor, the PEF Membership Benefits Program, their affiliates, and their respective directors, trustees, officers and employees from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, harm, damage, cost, and/or expenses whatsoever (including without limitation, all attorneys’ fees and court costs incurred) arising directly or indirectly out of any property damage or personal injury and/or death and all risks which may arise directly or indirectly from his/her participation in the Promotion, possession or use and/or misuse of the prize or participation in any prize-related activity.

Use of name

Acceptance of a prize shall further constitute and signify the winner’s agreement and consent that Sponsor may use the winner’s name, likeness and/or prize and biographical information worldwide without limitation for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited.
