Know Your Rights:

This webinar will provide specific information on what the police can and cannot do and how to respond to police interactions in everyday settings—on the street, in your car, and at your workplace. A Q&A session will be included.

By attending this webinar, you will learn:

  1. How to reduce your risk when stopped.
  2. Dos and don’ts when stopped on the street/in public.
  3. Dos and don’ts when stopped in your vehicle.
  4. Dos and don’ts when law enforcement is at your workplace.
  5. Rights you have as a union member.

At the conclusion of this webinar, you will understand the importance of staying calm; how to reduce risk to yourself; how to best assert your rights; what to do if you feel your rights were violated; and why silence is protection.
