The PEF Membership Benefits Program Trust
The PEF Membership Benefits Program (PEF MBP) Trust is a separate entity from the Union. The PEF MBP Trust is governed by PEF MBP Board of Trustees. The exclusive policy making body for PEF MBP resides with the five (5) Trustees, appointed by the President of PEF in accordance with the PEF MBP Trust Document.
The Trustees alone, are charged with the operation and administration of the Trust and managing the assets of the program while maintaining its financial stability. The Trustees are required to establish and accumulate reserves that are adequate to carry out the purpose of PEF MBP. Careful investments and administrative fees allow the program to remain fully self-funded.
Neither the Union nor any of its bodies have jurisdiction or binding legal authority over the operations or policy of PEF MBP. Reciprocally, neither the Union nor the PEF MBP have legal responsibilities for each other’s actions.

Administrator
