Modified Open Enrollment (MOE) gives every member the chance to enroll or increase their coverage in our three insurances—Group Term Life, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability—with no medical questions asked. This is the perfect time for members to evaluate their family’s needs and to obtain the coverage required to protect loved ones. New Member Orientations

Please note: Due to COVID-19 and social distancing requirements, all PEF MBP travel has been discontinued for the immediate future. However, PEF MBP has two New Member Orientation options available for your new hires, and even non-members who have been working for some time and are now considering membership in PEF.

Option #1: Recorded Webinar:

The recorded webinar is available on-demand and accessible from a desktop, laptop, tablet, and even a mobile device, 24/7. To access the New Member Orientation Webinar, simply share the link below with your new hires or non-members; They must register to gain access.

Option #2: A Live New Member Orientation Via Zoom

To schedule a live New Member Orientation delivered by the Zoom platform, please contact Elaine Carpenter at (518) 785-1900, ext. 356, or email PEF MBP. To schedule, simply provide us with the date and time that you would like PEF MBP to host a live Zoom, New Member Orientation, and we will check our calendar and rep availability. We will confirm a date and time and send a meeting invitation to you to share with your new hires or we can send the Zoom meeting invitation direct to your new hires if we are provided with the new hire email addresses.

While COVID-19 has made some things a little more challenging, we won’t let it get in the way of educating your new hires on the valuable benefits available through the PEF Membership Benefits Program, once they become a member of PEF.
