Great Escape Official Park Operating Hours: 11 a.m.–9 p.m.

Hurricane Harbor Operating Hours: Noon–6 p.m.

Event Details

Park admission, lunch buffet & parking pass—just $30

• PEF members/retirees can purchase up to four (4) e-tickets at the $30 price and up to an additional six (6) e-tickets may be purchased at the discounted price of $67.74.
• The $30 e-tickets or $67.74 discounted e-tickets for admission must be purchased by season ticket holders as well.
• E-ticket includes amusement/water park admission, a lunch buffet, and parking.
• Children 2 years of age and younger do not need a ticket.
• Once you purchase your event e-tickets, they will be emailed directly to your email address on file with PEF MBP. You will need to keep these e-tickets in a safe place and bring them with you the day of the event.
• The PEF member/retiree does not need to be present at the park the day of the event as there is no registration/ticket pick-up process.

Free Parking

• The parking lot opens at 10 a.m.
• Be sure you bring your parking e-ticket with you the day of the event in order to park for free. If you forget your parking e-ticket, you will need to pay for your own parking.

Park Entry for Event Day Begins at 11 a.m.

• You may come to the park with your family members/friends for the 11 a.m. park open time.
• PEF member/retiree who purchased the event tickets does not need to be present the day of the event. There is no formal registration/ticket pick-up process as all e-tickets are emailed in advance.
• Once you arrive at the park, simply proceed through the metal detectors and then to the ticket turnstiles to enter the park. Have your e-tickets with you for entry.

Purchase a souvenir bottle for free soft drinks and water refills for $16.04

• Free water/soda offer only available with the purchase of a discounted souvenir bottle just $14.99 ($16.04 with tax)
• Unlimited refills are only available August 10th.
• Purchase online directly through the Great Escape by August 4th.
• Click the promo tab at the top of the page. Promo code offer will be available approximately 3 weeks prior to the event. No sales are available the day of the event.
• Enter promo code: PEFSFGE2024 when placing your order.
• Souvenir bottles purchased by August 4th, can be picked up upon arrival the day of the event anywhere bottles are sold in the park, including major food stands, drink refill stands, the candy shop near the entrance, etc.
• Souvenir bottle refills can be made at any restaurant displaying a blue drink cup image on their signage.

2024 Season Pass Upgrade starting at $9.99 plus tax

• Available to all PEF members/retirees who purchase family & friends day e-tickets.
• Get unlimited admission, discounts, and more when you upgrade to a gold or platinum pass.
• Present your e-ticket on August 10th at guest relations inside the park to upgrade.
• Upgrades are only available August 10.

Buffet lunch (Noon–2 p.m.)

• Located in the Northwoods Picnic Grove.
• Lunch e-tickets are required for entry. You may leave and re-enter as you please.
• Menu: Chopped brisket, pulled pork, chicken tenders, macaroni salad, mac & cheese, tossed salad, potato chips, assorted ice cream, fountain beverages & water.
• All guests will be provided with a wristband that they will be required to wear for access to the pavilion area and catered meal.
• Raffle prizes will be available at the PEF MBP table. Be sure to stop by the PEF MBP table to pick up your raffle prize entry form and enter into the prize drawing of your choice.
• Winners will be drawn the Monday following the event. Winners will be contacted by PEF MBP.

Important Event Policy Information

• PLEASE NOTE: No refunds will be made available.
• Limit of four (4) e-tickets per PEF member/PEF retiree at the special price of $30. Up to an additional six (6) e-tickets may be purchased at the discounted price of $67.74.
• PEF members/retirees, family members, and friends are only allowed to attend one (1) of the two (2) family and friends day events offered, regardless of the number of e-tickets purchased and home/work address. Your order will be verified to ensure that no other family & friends day event e-tickets have been purchased before your e-tickets order is processed for this specific event.
• If you place an order and we find that you have already purchased e-tickets for another 2024 family & friends day event, your order will be cancelled and you will receive a cancellation notice.
• Once your order is processed, your e-tickets will be emailed directly to your email address on file with PEF MBP.
• There is no registration/ticket pick-up process the day of the event. Simply arrive with your e-ticket in hand.
• You will receive an event reminder email approximately 2-3 days prior to the event that will include any event updates and important details you need to be aware of prior to attending.
• E-ticket sales will end on July 28, 2024 or when e-ticket availability has run out (whichever comes first).
• There will be no rain date.
• As a participant of the PEF MBP Family & Friends Day event, you grant the PEF Membership Benefits Program, the right to photograph/videotape the bearer of the Great Escape e-ticket/wristband on Great Escape property, and utilize the photography/videotape for any PEF MBP marketing purpose (i.e., advertising material, the internet, social media, or any other media) without notice, payment, or consideration.

To Purchase Tickets

• E-tickets can only be purchased over the phone or in person at the PEF MBP office located at 10 Airline Drive, Suite 101, Albany, NY 12205.
• PEF member/retiree membership will be verified.

E-ticket supplies are limited and will only be available while supplies last.
